Double Trouble began as a duo made up of Jacob Bennett and Kai Kirk, who are now both 9 years old. They competed in The Rare Earth Jazz and Blues Fest Kids Have Talent competition and made it all the way to the top 10. Jacob and Kai have a lot of fun with their music and their stories and think that music is more fun when ti’ss played with friends.
Now that the contest is over they are joined by their siblings, Aidan, Sage, and Paris, who couldn’t take part in the competition because of an inconvenient age restriction.
Now Double Trouble is a high energy fiddle group made up of two sibling sets – the Bennett Boys (Jacob and Aidan) and the Kirk Girls (Kai, Sage, and Paris) who range in age from 5 to 9 years old. Music and stories are woven together with fun and friendship in a dynamic set of unique tunes. You can’t predict a Double Trouble performance – but you can count on great music and a few laughs.
